An Alexandrian Moment (HA)
And lo, it snowed.
And the snow thereof was great and fell from the sky for many hours.
And the man, who was sick, looked at his companion and said, "I am sorry thou must shovel, however, I trust as my equal and companion that you mayest shovel with no problem." And the woman nodded, and thus she inhibited and did not shovel, but did eat her breakfast with great relish and enjoyment.
And great was the inhibition thereof. And the snow did continue to fall.
After a time the woman did dress in warm clothing and did go forth out in to the snow wielding a shovel of bright orangeness and did thrust the shovel fully into the snow, and great was the snow thereof.
The woman looked about her and said to herself, "I am not strong enough to do this, for my arms are weak!" And she was in despair!
Behold, a voice cometh to her and sayeth, "Woman!! How wouldst Cathy or Luc shovel the great snow??" And the woman took heart and inhibited and gathered herself and became aware!
Lo, she became aware that her head was down, her neck was not free, her back was narrow, her arms were in a large primary, and her body was forward. And she said, "This will NOT work!"
And her words were truth!
Therefore, the woman did organize herself, she did prepare every needful thing! Her head did come up, her neck became free, she allowed her back to widen and her arms to come forth from her back and in doing so her shoulders also cometh down from the reaches of her ears and did settle in to the girdle from whence they had migrated! The woman then used the orange shovel to help take her back back and then she did go forth in lunge across the driveway pushing the snow before her with ease making it part hither and thither! And great was the happiness of the woman, for she had organized and made her work become simple!
Her happiness came forth as laughter across the great snow as she used monkey to gain leverage and throw the snow from before her path!
And for a time the woman continued in happiness in her work - but lo, the concrete buckleth and twisteth so that it was not all even, and in her happiness and newfound strength the woman nearly endo-ed over the orange shovel as it struck the unevenness of the concrete. But she laughed again, for she did not endo, nor did she fall, but only falter for a moment.
After a time the spirits of F.M. and A.R. and Barlow and Barstow did look down upon her and smile and say, "She beginneth to understand, tho she be young and naive in her understanding, she tryeth valiantly."
And lo in their happiness they sent her a friendly neighbor who, on his ATV had a plow. And the friendly neighbor did come forth and ask if he might help the woman, and she said, "YES!! Please!" And the neighbor did show compassion upon the woman and did clear the remainder of her driveway in 10 minutes. And the woman was thankful, and the neighbor departed.
And thus, the woman learned and was grateful. Amen.
