Day 47 (Start of Term 2)

We started up again last night - I was semi-dreading going back, but I shouldn't have been, it was nice to be back with everyone.

We did a lot of debriefing and talking. C took each of us for a few minutes in private and discussed any of our concerns and things we had on our mind. It was a good idea for her to do I think.

While we were doing that the other three of us were inhibiting.....go figure, right? Heh...

One person was in the chair and one put hands on - front and back-  and had two jobs. The first time it was to observe what was going on with the person we were hands-on. The second time we were to take care of ourselves then the third person was to non-observe. It was interesting. For me - the first hands-on was usually heavy and sometimes, even tho they weren't supposed to direct it almost felt like they were. The second time felt lighter, with energy.

The non-observer was just supposed to, well...non observe. Which was interesting too.

The question is: How do we observe? Touch, sight, sound, and INHIBITION!

Inhibition helps us tap into the intuitive.

I received a horrible, nasty email from a parent today and instead of going off half cocked I inhibited. Doing that helped me brush off a lot of the horrible names I was called in the email, I didn't take it nearly as personally as I typically would have. Plus, I stepped back and processed before responding - it worked out really well!!

CH posted in our FB page after I said something about it and it helped a lot too:

Like in class last night, just sit and watch, inhibit, see if your intuition tells you anything about the difficulties and suffering in the parents life that would make them so unpleasant.
It was super helpful to think outside of the situation. Well, need to get ready for tonight!
