day 32, 33, 34, 35

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm really cut out to do this. I'm so damn tired. All. The. Time.

Between teaching and doing school idk if I'm going to make it. My house is a disaster, my body is more of a disaster than my house - it's just a little ridiculous.

Before Thanksgiving break L talked about how development is constant how we don't want our students to become their  "best" them, we want them to to become their "next" them.  And how bad habits don't allow them to fulfill their full potential. Couldn't agree more.

We practiced putting each other into "primary" on the table. We lay face down and the other person would kind of tuck us up - for lack of a better way to explain it. Then we looked up, pulled to the end of the table and came up. My weight is truly becoming detrimental to me doing some of this stuff - I'm so self-concious about doing anything that has anything to do with anyone lifting or moving me...it's killing me a little.

The big take away from this was that as I was working with someone I was in too much of a hurry (ha...go figure, right?) and I need to slow down and "feel."

This week has been kind of weird. C has been gone with the death of a family member so our class has been down one person and S taught class on Weds talking about Yield and Push and Reach and Pull. Cool concepts, but again, we did stuff my weight and physical issues wouldn't let me do or do comfortably.

On Thurs C read to us from "Mans Supreme Inheritance" Damn....FM writes like a crazy person and his vocab is so thick it's ridiculous.

We read the opening chapter regarding evolution and how we have problems and in the process of trying to fix ourselves (ex. exercising) we often end up with two systems in antagonism. We exercise, but then we go right back to "work" doing the things we always do and often negating the "fixing" we've tried to do.  FM called it our body being in a state of civil war. Yeah.....I get it.

That's all for this week - I'm sorry there's not a lot of thought here today, I'm tired and school starts shortly but I needed to get things down.
